My "Fat Fast" Results

I finally finished the "Fat Fast" Challenge last week and I'm ready to share my experience with you.

Day One was a bitch. It was by far the worst day of the entire regime. I think it was the change from solid foods to liquids as well as the fact that my stomach needed to shrink to accommodate the measly 1300 calories a day I'd be eating for the next month.

The rest of the week went well but I had to introduce some solid foods into my diet. I found saviors in cans of salmon, egg and cheese omelets, and bacon. With the addition of whole foods (up to three, but usually two, of my five daily meals) I was able to withstand the diet for the next three weeks without many drawbacks at all.

The MD6 really helped with my energy levels and helped to curb my regularly ravenous appetite. I am convinced that the Androsol and Glutacene did wonders to help me maintain my muscle mass during this near-starvation experience (I actually gained over two pounds of lean body mass - see below). I think the Glutacene may also have helped with my "pumps" in the gym. I never did take in the carbs I had planned to pre-workout because I didn't have any trouble getting pumped without them.

Enough chatter, here are the results:

I was far from a "porker" when I started the "fat fast" diet, but as you can see by the handles, I really did need to lose a few pounds to be considered athletic looking.
Weight = 159.2 lb
Fat % = 12.8 %
Fat Mass = 20.38 lb
Fat Free Mass = 138.82 lb





The after results were surprising, even to me.
Weight = 154.2 lb
Fat % = 8.3 %
Fat Mass = 12.8 lb
Fat Free Mass = 141.4 lb






When all was said and done I had managed to lose 7.58 lb of fat and actually gain 2.58 lb of lean muscle! My 30" pants are loose again and I feel great! If I can learn to lay off the apple fritters I'll hopefully be able to stay in moderatley good shape until my next bodybuilding competition next year...
